How the delay affects the processing depends on the processing. You can use any DAW (though I wouldn't recommend Tracktion unless you're already comfortable with it) to demonstrate to yourself how the process works, but you may find that what you're experimenting with isn't practical because of how long after something happens on stage you hear coming out of the speakers.
Its very low overhead means that there's very little added delay to the throughput time of the host-based DSP itself. What Multirack does is simply substitute for a DAW. Be aware that MultiRack is optimized and has specific versions of the Waves plugins. If you plan to use any of the artists signature series they will be quite taxing as they incorporate a lot of processing parts.īest to just test it.
